Hi everyone!
I am interested in travelling from Amsterdam to Copenhagen sometime in late October/early November. The ticket prices were quite reasonable considering the distance I want to travel. However I heard that City Night Line tickets can rival budget airlines for value for money.
So my question is thus: how fat in advance do I need to book City Night Line tickets to get the rock bottom price?
Thanks for the help!

Hi.
In general the rule is: as earlier you book, as cheaper the prices are. Don't expect to get cheap prices booking only two weeks in advance.
Please book via: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]

Thank you. :)

Hi

I traveled on a number of CNL journeys in May-June this year, and once having bought my Eurail Pass through railccs was able to reserve the compartment accommodation for each journey also through the railccs/DBahn link as soon as they became available. This from Australia was about 90 days in advance. As I wanted to reserve ensuite single occupancy accommodation I thought it was best to start as soon as possible because of the limited number of such compartments available on each train. I was able to obtain my preferred supplement/reservation for each of the six CNL trips. Also the supplement payment for each was at its lowest immediately following the opening of the bookings.
However my six trips did not include the Amsterdam-Copenhagen journey, but I would think that the above information applies equally to that trip, and to bookings using InterRail rather than Eurail.
So my advice would be: as soon as your dates and itinerary are fixed the sooner the better for your reservations.

Happy travelling
