the one month is sometimes 28, 29, 30 or 31 days of travel. depends on the length of a month...
when your ticket starts the 5th of May (00:01h midnight), it is valid until the 4th June (23:59h midnight).
when your ticket starts the 5th of February (00:01h midnight), it is valid until the 4th March (23:59h midnight). you see, less travel days than in the option mentioned above. ;)
in your case: when your ticket starts at the 31th of May (00:01h midnight), it is valid until the 30th June 23:59h.
