Hi... I’m also planning to go alone, and it will be my 1st interrail... so, that is an issue that worries me a lot too! :o
It is viable and safe? Or I’m being too crazy and irresponsible to do that on my own? :os If anyone could help, telling their experiences and give us some advices, it will be very helpful!! Thanks!!

I'm female and planning on going it alone as well.. I've never done it before but I've talked to a friend who's done a lot of travelling around Europe alone and she says not to worry, that it's absolutely fine if you're careful.. The worst part is night trains (supposedly)

why did you choose this countries?
Not that it bothers me, but you make me curious and I'm wondering from which country are you comming.
If you choose to see Bucharest (it' just near by) I'll gladly be your guide in the city nd surroundings.
I also wanna leave for ten day across Europe by my on and to be honest I don't know what my itinerary should be in order to satisfy my wishes in best wy possible

Heeya,
I used to travel alone in East-Europe and I don't think it is worst than in West. The only challenges are the cultural differences and the languages. I mean, for example if somebody in a serbian train is chatting laudly, doesn't mean that want bother you or be unpolite, it is only their character.
Try to copy the other passangers, if they sit next to the corridor and their bag is next to the windows, it means (for me) that it is more safety to do so. In my experience in East people care for each other more, so if you ask somebody's help, they wont hesitate to give you helping hands. You may find dirty and old trains, but people are everywhere PEOPLE.
However, I don't advise you to travel by the Sofia-Belgrad nighttrain alone (but I saw 3 girls travelling together, in his way they easily managed). From Belgrad to Budapest I used to go by the daily train, it is a slowly and busy way, but I felt safety (but I have to add that I speak hungarian and a bit slavic too). However, if you want to see a bit more and feel more safety, I advise you to take a train till Subotica, look around in the city and travel from there to Szeged, Hungary (by bus also possible and cheap). Worth to see both cities and the trains from Szeged run in a more frequent and safety line to Budapest.
