Hi I am planning a trip to Spain in August and need your advice.
From Barcelona to Valencia
I have 7 travellers in the group.
Age:66, 59, 41, 35, 32, 4, 2
When i generate the tickets together, it would be generated as
6 tickets = $108 each
1 ticket=$68
However, if i were to generate individually, for eg: 66 yr old, then it gives me 3 options (as shown below)
Renfe E-Ticket Promo Fare
- seat reservation: included $68.00-->(this one doesnt provide any info, so how does it differ from the 2 below, is it eticket?)
Renfe E-Ticket Promo+ Fare Info
- seat reservation: included $77.00 -->(this one advanced purchase ticket & non refundable no change in ticket, is it eticket? Why is this more expensive than the $68 one when it doesn't says non-refundable?)
Renfe E-Ticket Fare Info
- seat reservation: included $108.00-->( this simply says eticket, more expensive is it because the time is changeable?)
The 3 tickets above, i noticed that seat reservation is included. But only the $108 tickets says reservation will be emailed. Since all says seat reservation included:
Can i choose the seats on my own or is it assigned by the system? Do I have to go to the train station earlier to exchange for tickets?
If i buy them in a group and choose compartment does that mean everyone will be seated together?
If i buy them individually, can I still choose to be seated together?
What's the difference between Prefentia, Turista 2CI and Turista Plus?

Hi.
If a ticket is marked as E-Ticket, you will receive ticket details by email.
There are different fares available. Special promo fares are limited. If the limited number of seats are taken, you will have to pay more for other tickets.
Click the Info label behind the ticket details for more information.
More information about Spanish train tickets (refunds, etc) by clicking the link in the shop: http://premium.acprailnet.com/UserFiles/File/renfe-etickets%281%29.pdf
