Hello, I'm planning a solo trip to Scotland.
I go with flight from Pisa to Glasow or Edinburgh, I have yet to decide...
The question is ... Should I do the InterRail pass for travel within the country by train and eventually have discounts on bus and ferry?
sorry but, it's my first InterRail experience and I don't know really well how it works. :|

Hi!

There are no discounts on busses or ferries with IR within Scotland. However InterRail is usually good value in the UK since regular train tickets are quite expensive.
You might also look into the BritRail passes instead of InterRail. Have a look at the railcc shop for the different offers available: rail.shop/acprail/greatbritain (then select Rail Passes in the menu on the top left)
Whether or not a pass pays off also depends on your route and on how flexible you want to remain during your trip.
