Hi, just wondering if anyone can help me.
Me and a few friends are going away to amsterdam, travelling from england, on the 2nd of july and then travelling on from there. We're going to buy 5 day with 10 day interrail tickets online today, but are wondering how that would work. If we book a hostel, can we get the tickets sent to that hostel so that we can pick them up once we arrive in Amsterdam.
How long will the tickets take to come?
and also how reliable is it that we will receive the tickets at our location? Will there be any postal errors?
It's a very last minute trip and we're wondering how much can go wrong. Anyway thanks for reading this and thanks for any answers you give. Much appreciated.

Hi.
There are NO postal errors.
And yes, the ticket can be sent to every address you want.
Ask the hostel if they will receive the ticket for you. Check if the hostel staff is serious.
Shipping time to the Netherlands is by express service: 1-3 business days, by standard air mail 2-7 business days.
To bad you didn't ordered to your home address in the UK: to the UK you have 2 business and free of shipping costs.
Maybe think about buying it at the central station of Amsterdam. Easier in this case.

Hey Pete, thanks for the reply, really helpful.
Just wondering though, if it's 2 day delivery. If we ordered today before 5pm today and if the delivery is 2 business days. If we go on the 3rd instead, does that mean we'll recieve our tickets before we leave. We should recieve them on the 2nd right.

Hi.
Today is Sunday. Sendings are prepared to send on Monday (1st) afternoon. From there two business days. So they will arrive to a UK postal address on the 3rd - maybe earlier. But calculate with the 3rd - or buy it in Amsterdam station.

What time do they usually arrive? Is it regular postage times for the area, or do they come at a set time, like 9am.
Sorry that was the last question. I massively appreciate the help.

Hi.
As much as I know it is regular royal mail. So no fixed time in the UK.
