the information i got was this CityNightLine 429, Amsterdam Centraal (ab 19:40) - München Hbf, 2 Bettplätze, 2 Aufpreis Pass 1, Wagen 187, Plätze 61 65, 2 Double,
i wanted a sleeping cabin for just 2 people me and my girlfriend and no one else is that what ive got ? and also is wagen 187 mean we are in sleeper cabin number 187? seats 61-65? why does it say so many seats ?
also i could have printed an e ticket for them which was saying i needed specific identification like ID cards etc but in the end i got them delivered but now i dont know what ID i need for the reservation will i need the card i used to pay for them? and anything else?

hi,
this reservation is the one you've wanted :) http://www.vagonweb.cz/razeni/vlak.php?zeme=DB&cislo=419/1319/429&rok=2013
You are in wagon 187. There's no cabin number. So you have to look at the cabin's description, when you are entering the train :)
It only says that you made a reservation for the bed 61 and 65, not for 61-65 :) Just these two :)
If the tickets have been delivered to you, you don't need a ID to verify who you are. If you ordered the printed version, you'd have had a ticket like that: http://it-material.de/IT-online5/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/OnlineTicket_DeutscheBahn.jpg On the right side it says Ausweis, which means ID/passport number :)

And 2 Double means you have a double-compartment - no one else in it!
These compartments have 3-beds. In your case 61, 63 and 65. But double says: 63 stays empty! :)
Here the wagon with bed 61 and 65: http://www.citynightline.de/citynightline/view/mdb/citynightline/city_night_line_neu/info/MDB78165-schlafwagen_comfortline_wagenskizze.pdf

Hi Ed,
I hope you use the [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] link to access DB website = support of railcc. :)
I know that problem all too well as I do not have any of these identification cards either. :(
You should be able to choose postage of the reservations. Maybe also check [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation[/ux] but this will be more expensive. I suppose that the Paris - Munich train will be right at the beginning of your trip? So you wont have the option of making a reservation by phone and picking it up at a German station.
However there should be some DB agencies in the UK, they should be able to help you.
