Hey Folks,

I'm planning a trip to Italy and Greece with an Interrail Global Pass.

After days in Rome I wanted to go to the east coast, leaving Italy by a ferry.

So I read about different companies offering connections from Ancona to Patras or from Bari to Patras.
Each company also offered a 30% discount on domestic connections in Greece (from island to island) when booking my tour over the Adriatic Sea at them.
Because I wanted to visit the Cyclades, I would have to book at Blue Star Ferries (they have the best routes there).

:!: But, and here's my problem, it is said, that a crossing of the Adriatic Sea should be booked from Ancona to Patras.
...I'd love to go from Bari, so do you think, the discount-offer is also valid then?

Look here: [link removed as we don't work together with them]

Thanks a lot to your answers yet!

Hi Malle.
I just removed the link as we don't cooperate with this company. If you have questions concerning their information, contact them directly - we are not the support forum of other companies. Thank you! :)
For ferry connections Italy-Greece have a look here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-ferry/italy/it
For bookings contact the ferry companies directly - but it is always possible to get a deck place directly at the harbour office.
And please help us to help you with the information on railcc - buy your official Interrail pass on the recommended website: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - as it is not fair to ask at railcc for support and buy somewhere else. Thank you! :)

Hej Peter,

I'm sorry for the link, I did not want to annoy you with that, but it was the only site offering some information on the discount on domestic connections.

And I'm out of the retail sector, so don't worry, I know about this nasty consulting-theft-thing ||

Okay, but I want to leave open my question, since I hope, someone has made experience with it.

Thanks a lot Peter,

Malle
