Hello, I'm got a question about night trains in general
Can you get on at one of the stops, or do you have to travel all the way between two big cities
For example, the night train from Milan to Munich is said to stop at both innsbruck and verona, could I get on at Verona and off at innsbruck
thank you

Hi.
You do not need the stay in a night train the whole trip.
It is possible to enter the night train Milan to Munich (https://rail.cc/en/night-train/milan-munich-cnl-40481/274) for example in Verona - and exit in Innsbruck.
It is not possible to enter in Rosenheim and exit in Munich.

Thank you for your reply.

More specifically the reason I was worried about this was because I tried to enter the journey Verona to Innsbruck on the 'raileur*pe' website to find out the cost of a bed/seat, and it said there were no journeys starting that night/early morning (This is for Sunday 4th August). Im not sure why this is (and I would also like to ask if these shorter journeys affect the price of the bed/reservation cost)

Hi Harry.
railcc is definitely NOT the support form of this company you mention! Please ask them directly.
What exactly do you need - a reservation for Interrail on the 4th August from Verona to Innsbruck?
Or just a normal point to point ticket?

I was just trying to check whether to go from Verona to Innsbruck was possible by night train, and though I saw on this website that it stopped in those two places I just wanted to check with other websites to confirm this is possible.

So I was just basically wanting to know whether possible to get on a train at Verona at 0101 to Innsbruck at 0431 on the 5th August, and what any reservation/seat or bed costs would be for this

In my eyes it is definitely not worth to use the night train on this route. It is a journey of 3:30h. You have to get to your compartment, at least 30 minutes before departure you have to get up - and so on. In total less than 3 hours of sleep.
The prices for a night train reservation are listed here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/milan-munich-cnl40481/274

Why don't you use a day train free of extra reservation fees - and spent the money for a real bed in Innsbruck?! :)
Example:

Verona Porta Nuova dep: 1548 - free local train
Brennero/Brenner arr: 1852

Brennero/Brenner dep: 1928 - free local train
Innsbruck Hbf arr: 2008

Don't use the direct EC trains on this route, as they require a reservation: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/db-%C3%B6bb-eurocity/%C3%B6bb-db-%C3%B6bb-ec/32

And please help us to help you with the information on railcc - buy your official Interrail pass on the recommended website: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - as it is not fair to ask at railcc for support and buy somewhere else. Thank you!
Peter :)
