Hi everybody. It seems I have a problem with finding an inexpensive route from Madrid to northern Europe. I'm going to leave Madrid on the 4th of August and here comes the trouble. I see no way to make any cheap reservations for night trains going through France. Elipso is not an option and railcc's shop doesn't allow me to reserve couchettes or seats for any french night train (is it just a temporary problem?). However, if I go to SNCF's site and choose Carte 12-25 as a SNCF discount railcard (is my Interrail Global Youth Pass considered as this?), it allows to reserve a couchette/seat.
Therefore I have a few questions:
1) Am I right with those suggestions?
2) Is there any other way to get from Spain to Germany (I know about night trains departing from Cerbere and Hendaye)?
Thank you all in advance.
P.S.
I would not like to have any night stops in France.
P.P.S. I am sorry for being lazy and do not bothering myself with searching over the forum if someone has already had the same problem.

Hi.
Which night train you want to reserve on railcc? [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation[/ux]
Note: the reservation tool is an extra service for railcc customers. We don't earn money by selling these reservations, so handling fees may be added. The usual way to get reservations is at a railway station.
You can not buy reservations for Interrail on SNCF website.
Possible route: Madrid - Barcelona, Barcelona - Paris, Paris - Hamburg (or wherever you want to go to).
All schedules here: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
And please help us to help you with the information on railcc - buy your official Interrail pass on the recommended website: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - as it is not fair to ask at railcc for support and buy somewhere else. Thank you!
Peter :)

I try to make reservations for trains from Cerbere to Strasbourg or Luxembourg / from Irun to Paris.
The error text:
Online prices are currently unavailable for the selected route.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
As far as I live outside EU I cannot make reservations in advance on the train station. Or... can I do it?

Hi.
I just tested it on [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation[/ux] for the date: 04-08-2013
Departure Cerbere at 20:25, arrival Strasbourg at 08:50.
And it showed up - possible too book.
Fill in Cerbere and Strasbourg as stations.
The reservation for the train to Luxembourg is not possible on that date.

Could be another option:
Madrid-Cerbere by spanish night train: https://rail.cc/de/interrail-nachtzug/madrid-cerbere-estr-370/84
Cerbere - Basel by TER and TGV vers Perpignan/Montpellier/Lyon/Mulhouse
Than Night-Train Basel-Hamburg: https://rail.cc/de/interrail-nachtzug/basel-kopenhagen-cnl-472/26 Its also possible to go from Basel to Berlin or Leipzig/Praha.

Thank you very much for your replies. Madrid - Cerbere night train seems a nice option, but it runs only on Fridays.
Peter, I would never think there is a distinction in train's departure time on the reservations' page. Once I had changed it from default to 20:00, I got suggestions starting from €28. It is acceptable.
