I currently have been living in Amsterdam for the last 3 months, but I am originally from the US. I want to purchase a rail pass, but not sure which one I will be eligible for. As of the first day of my trip, I will have only been in Europe for 5 months, so this doesn't qualify me for the Interral pass. Can I purchase a Eurail pass if I've been living in Europe for 5 months?

Hi.
The country you lived in the past 6 months is your country of residence.
As you only stayed 5 months in the Netherlands at your first day of travel, you have to buy an Eurail pass.
