Hi all,
This year i'm going on vacation for the first time with the train. I''ll go with three friends and we will visit:
Prague>Krakow>Budapest>Balaton lake>Vienna>Munich.
When planning the roadtrip, we found out some little problems. We want to make a reservation for the trains. (hostels are already booked). My question is, how can i make a reservation? Can't find good information about it on the internet. The first train is already booked on the site of the Deutsche Bahn, but the next train on rail.shop/cd wouldn't work.
Thank you for you help!

Hi Stefan.
You mean the Prague-Krakow train? It's not possible to reserve this night train online. You have to do it at a railway station - which is as well the common way to get reservations. Possible for example in Germany.
And please help us to help you with the information on railcc - buy your official Interrail pass on the recommended website: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - as it is not fair to ask at railcc for support and buy somewhere else. Thank you! :)

hi Peter,
Thank you for your fast reply! The train's we want to reserve are:
Prague - Krakow (Daytrain)
Krakow - Budapest (nighttrain)
Budapest - Vienna (Daytrain)
Vienna - Munich (Daytrain)
Munich - Amsterdam (Daytrain)
I know that we can help you. I'm longer on this forum(before only reading) and i tried to buy my interrail ticket via the railcc shop. Now there was a one problem because the pre-booking time was three months and my trip starts on the 13th of july. I didn't know that because this is the first time i'll go by train. I'll hope you'll understand that and that you still will help me. :) Next time, i'll buy my ticket via the railude shop!

little addition to my last post. Do you need to reserve a place in those trains except the night train?
In April i was on the train from Amsterdam to Berlin with school and the people without a reservation had to stand the whole journey. I want to prevent that i have to stand the whole train journey.
Thank you!

Hi Stefan.
You can pre-book an Interrail pass in general up to 3 months in advance, but you can also buy it only two weeks in advance. So if you didn't buy it at railcc, that's sad.
Just have a look at the schedules which will show you if a train is free or not: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
Krakow-Budapest: not possible to book online.
For further questions please ask the company where you got your Interrail pass from - as they are the ones who should support you and answer your questions.

Hi Peter,
I thought you should buy your ticket at least three months before your first trip. That's a sad misunderstanding.
I bought my ticket on interrail.eu. I'll try to connect them and ask them if they can help me out.
So you have to book it on the train station in Krakow?
At least i'll thank you for your help!
