Hi all,
I'm just debating whether or not it is worth staying for a night in Monaco or to skip it (still see during the day and spend two in Nice) If anyone's been would they suggest staying there? Or even just outside? for the night or is just a day trip enough?
I do want to chill on the beach in the evening a bit in the night so in Monaco good for beaches to chill on? I heard that Nice has beaches that have a lot of pebbles.
Does anyone have any recommendations for hotels, hostel etc for Monaco or Nice or both?
Thanks in advance again!

hi,
I would recommend this hostel in Nice: https://rail.cc/en/nice/meyerbeer-beach/l229 / https://rail.cc/en/nice/accommodation/c
It will be cheaper to stay to nights in Nice, that in Monaco. Just use a local train and go for a day trip. I don't know anything about the beaches of Monte Carlo, but your're right the beach in Nice has a lot of pebbles :D But you can stay in Monte Carlo in the evening. The last train from Monte Carlo to Nice leaves at 11:12 pm.

I quite like the (small) beach of Villefranche-sur-Mer, just a few minutes east of Nice and directly accessible from the train station. There is a small beach in the eastern part of Monaco, not too far away from the centre.
I would prefer to visit other places though; in Monaco it is enough to walk along the F1 track to see most of the city, you could add a visit to the old town but for me personally that is enough - there are many other nice villages along the Cote d'Azur worth a visit.

Thanks Natureone and Flow i'll check out that place in Nice and will probably stay in Nice and do as suggested and go to Monaco for the afternoon and evening then go back to Nice.
The beach to the east of Nice sounds lovely!!
Thanks again

Villefranche-sur-Mer is really nice but expect the village and the beach to be busy (as probably everywhere on Cote d'Azur). Some scenes of the movie Ronin have been shot there... :D
