Hi!

Ok, i know this topic it's not very specific because me and my friends are starting to plan all the things for the interrail trip.

We are thinking in buying a 22 days continuos ticket for August and firstly we are planning to pick a flight from Lisbon to Central Europe (to have time to visit some Eastern European countries) and start from there. But we can't decide witch country to start. So our question is, from witch country we should start our trip? We are planning to visit Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich, Prague, Brno, Viena, Bratislava, Zagreb, Ljubljana and go back home by train from Milan or Barcelona to Lisbon.
Do we have time to visit all these cities in 22 days or is it bit?
We are thinking in going to Belgium first but the flights are too expensive.
Can anyone help us with this?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers
Andre

Hej Andre,

I would look for cheap flights to the more eastern destinations of your trip, such as Bratislava, Zagreb, and so on. Which city you start is not so important as long as you get a cheap flight and dont have to travel in a circle - it makes more sense to travel more or less straight from east to west back home.

If i has you, i would buy a plane ticket to frankfurt by ryan air, then visit this cities by this order, brussels, amsterdam, berlim, praga, munich, viena, bratislava ljubliana veneza milan, (nice and cannes is always very beautiful), irun/handaye (conection stop) and back to portugal. but maybe it's to much for only 22 days, it depends on how much time you wanna stay in each country. In interrail it's all up to the traveller to decide...
