Hello. I booked a hotel in Amsterdam and on the confirmation email it said you must be 18 to check in. It didn't say this when i booked it and i'm 17. My boyfriend is 22 but all the details and payment is under my name. What should I do? I look old for my age, I'd get away with it but i'm worried they'll ask for my passport when we sign in or something... what do you suggest? Have you been asked for your passport at hotels before in Amsterdam?

If I book this hotel on expedia, there is a note that the person checking in must be 18 or older...
I would recommend to contact the hotel directly and ask about the issue. I assume it is no problem if your friend checks in but would not go there hoping that they do not ask about age and/or passport.
