Hi all,

First time poster here!

Myself and two friends are going to be heading off on our first inter-railing trip on July 1st and are currently mapping our route.

We're starting in Munich and from there we know we want to definitely see Prague, Budapest, Vienna and then either Krakow or Lake Bled. We only have 12/13 days (damn work!) so we know we'll be cutting it tight.

Can anyone recommend the best route to try and get to all of these cities?

Any and all help is really appreciated!

Hi!

It should be no problem to fit in all places:

1 Munich
2 Munich
3 start of 5in10 IR ticket; Munich - Lake Bled
4 Lake Bled - Vienna
5 Vienna
6 Vienna
7 Vienna - Budapest
8 Budapest
9 Budapest and night train to Prague
10 Prague
11 Prague and night train to Krakow
12 Krakow
13 Krakow

Depending on from where you want to fly home you can freely switch around the order of Budapest/Prague/Krakow, there are night trains operating between all these cities.

Basic information about schedules, supplements,... https://rail.cc/en/first-time-interrail

If you have further questions just as ask; to help us helping you purchase your IR tickets in our online shop: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - thank you! :)

Cheers Flo! Do you think 1 night in Lake Bled is enough?
