hi, there.
this is my first travel in Europe, and i intend to take trains around Europe. but now i have encountered some problems, so i will be much appreciated if some of you can help me out.
i am a passport holder of China, and i have been living in Serbia for more than 3 monthes. My visa for staying in Serbia is valid until 2013.8.31 and i have also got the residence of Serbia . But in this summer vacation, i may be or may be not come back to China.
Q1: so, if i do need to go back to China, should i buy the eurail or interrail if i want to go travel in europe?(the duration in Serbia in the visa is 6-monthes)
Q2: if i don't go back to China, then I will be staying in Serbia until December this year. but i want to go travel in Europe before i go to update my date of Serbian visa(it expires on 2013.8.31), because i have only this summer holiday. in this case, what kind of ticket should i buy?
a little complicated!
Q3:this is another question about the trip. i am a young female and i am gonna travel alone. so the safety is the top priority i need to be concerned of. i have read some articles and heard some stories from my friends. they say the western and southern europe is really chaos and lots of pickpockets and goats are everywhere. i am getting a lot of nerves. so can you please tell me more things about the western and southern cities like paris, bacerlona and rome etc. ~~and some tips for travel will be better.
sorry for my long-winded talk. i will be much grateful if you can give me some heads-up.

Hi.
There is only this little rule you have to care about: the country you spent the past six month in at the first day your ticket gets valid, is your country of residence.
So if you want to start to travel before you spent six months in Serbia, you will have to buy an Eurail pass.
