Hi There
A friend and I are looking to do something along the lines of this route in roughly 21-24 days
fly from Dublin to Amsterdam, and home from Greece (somewhere) to Dublin
Is this a crazy route? Any suggestions welcome!
Amsterdam- Bruges-Vienna-Slovenia-Venice-Croatia-MOntenegro-Greece (last few days on greek islands)

Looks nice, only tha last part, Montenegro to Greece, will be a problem, as there are no international train connections to and from Greece, also there is no ferry from Montenegro to Greece. So maybe you could take the bus from Split to Bar ( no direct connection). From Bar you could take the scenic train to Belgrade, then go by train to Bulgaria and Istanbul. From Istanbul there is a bus to Greece. The route Istanbul to Thessaloniki is 45€ per person.
The busses along the croatian coast are quite cheap. In Bulgaria you could make a stop at Sofya and maybe somewhere at the black sea.
