Hi, I'm trying to organise travel for myself and some friends from Budapest to Barcelona, using this route https://rail.cc/en/interrail/-to-
obviously the most important train here is the sleeper from Mulhouse to Port Bou and so that's what I'm currently trying to book. However, after trying to reserve this train on the railcc store, ACP rail and raileur*pe, I've been told it's not possible to reserve this particular train. The person I spoke to at raileur*pe said that this train is not reservable through any ticket vendor and that the only way to reserve it is to do it at Mulhouse station on the day, which seems ludicrous to me. What if we turn up at Mulhouse (after a 13 hour journey from budapest) only to find out that the train has been fully reserved? Does anyone know a way round this problem/has experienced it before? Many thanks

Hi.
And as often: the information you got is simply wrong. Ask first at railcc, we are real travellers and not just a company.
You can book this night train online. If the train runs on the date you travel ,it is no problem. Which date you want to travel?
Go on: [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation[/ux]
Fill in MULHOUSE VILLE and PORT-BOU (exact spelling!).
And you will find your bed in the 6-person couchette (note: handling fees included). :)

Also you are able to buy this night train reservation at other stations, in other countries, NOT only at the station of departure.

If you like the information on railcc, please buy your official Interrail pass via our partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - and not at a place where you get wrong information form. ;)

Pete :)

Hi, yeah I did try that as well, but an error came up afterwards saying that I'm not allowed to buy this reservation through railcc. I spoke you over email about this I think and you said that it is due to the French national railway filling in their schedules late. But if we can book at other European train stations like you said, then it should be fine

We're trying to travel on 16/7/13 by the way

many thanks!

Just tried right now and worked fine for the 16.07.2013
But you have to fill in the exactly (!) city names I gave you above.

How far through the process did you go though? I got the error message after I had entered my card details and tried to pay, which is strange

Then it might be the problem the credit card - maybe it is a prepaid one? Other payment methods did not worked? IT is a bit strict the payment system due to a lot fake orders we had in the past. Sorry for that. :|

I wasn't charged for anything, so im a bit stumped haha

Okay... so options for you:
- either to wait until the 13th of June and try to order then, due to this reason you already know about (change of the schedules): https://rail.cc/en/search-train-route
- or buy it at a railway station during your trip.
What route do you have planed?

Ah ok, yeah that makes sense, I'll try on the 13th June and if not we'll have to try and book it elsewhere on our journey.
Quite a complex journey haha, will be going to Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague and Budapest before we set off for Barcelona, so I assume we'd be able to try and book a sleeper train in one of those cities, if we can't do it in june. Thanks for your help!

Hi.
Yes you can definitely try in Brussels (https://rail.cc/en/brussels/brussels-south-railway-station/l289) - or in Berlin (https://rail.cc/en/berlin/berlin-central-railway-station/l146) then. They speak English at the ticket windows. :)
