Hello all...
I'm in desperate need of some help! :) I'm completely NEW to this and pretty much have no idea what I'm doing haha :D
first issue is, I'm American and my travel partner is British..if we buy one interrail pass and one eurail pass will there be any issues with us booking trains together? This is my primary concern as we want to see Europe together and I don't want either of us to be left alone in a strange place :o
Second, I've noticed that when I check prices for my adult Eurail pass (I'm 27), only first class is available.. Why is that? If I book a first class ticket will this cause an issue of my British mate who will have the second class youth?
After I get all this sorted I will need help with some route info :os
Thanks in advance!!!!!

Hi.
It is no problem to make reservations together, to sit together, as long as the Interrail and Eurail pass are valid in the countries you travel.
Indeed, the Interrail YOUTH pass is only available for 2nd class. The Eurail ADULT only for 1st class.
Options:
- you just sit in 2nd class beside your friend (downgrading is no problem).
- or your friend buys an Interrail ADULT pass, available for 1st class - but it is double price.
I know, both is not perfect, but option 1 the cheaper one.
Peter :)
