Hi,

This summer I'm going to travel with an Interrailpass for the first time, together with a friend. We want to start in Antwerp, and from Antwerp we will travel to Paris. From Paris we would like to take the night train to Latour-de-Carol.

When I search for this night train on this website, I get this page: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/paris-latour-de-carol-icn-3971/76

It says that you can make a reservation in the railcc shop. But when you make the reservation, and you try tot fill in 'Latour de Carol' in the 'to'-option, it doesn't recognize this destination. I've tried several variations on the place, like Latour-de-Carol or latour de carol, but it doesn't work.

I was wondering if other people have had the same problem & if there might be someone who could help me out.

Thank you for your reaction!

Hi.
The booking of this night train to Latour de Carol is currently not available. You have to buy the reservation at [ux]https://rail.shop/sncf/reservation[/ux] or at a station.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. Is this a permanent thing or could we make the reservation later via this railcc shop(we depart on the 1st of July)?

And if this isn't possible, how big is the chance that we can't make a reservation any more when we are in Paris? I mean is this a very popular night train or is there usually enough place?

Thank you & sorry for the (probably quite silly) questions!

Hi Jasmijn.
The problem is: the railway company running this train (it is the SNCF in France) doesn't offer online booking for this night train for Interrailers. So it is even much more tricky for an external project like railcc to make this booking available. SNCF is not really interested to have Interrailers in their trains - that's my impression.
It might be available, maybe not. So I personally would buy this reservation at a railway station in the Netherlands or Belgium for example.
And no - it is not a silly question! That's why we run this forum . :)
If you like all the information here on railcc and want to support it, buy your official Interrail pass here in the railcc shop: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - thank you. :)
