Hi guys,
Sticking to the general theme here but I was looking to get the night train from Amsterdam to Warsaw around 05/06/2013 and I tried to book it on dbahn ( [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] ) but I also had difficulties when merely trying to reserve a seat. I basically want to know whether it is worth booking online or whether I could risk it (being in June) and just buy at the station.. Is June a peak time? Or does this occur later ie July-September?

Thanks

Jess

Hi Jess,

sorry for the late reply! :|

For this train the same rules apply as with CNL trains: Either departure or arrival (or both obviously) station have to be in Germany. So, I would recommend to make a booking Warszawa - Amsterdam; usually it is no problem to then stay at your seat until Amsterdam since the reservation price is the same and does not depend on the distance travelled. I have contacted DB already adressing this issue and they told be that it is OK to do so as described above as long as your IR ticket is valid for the whole route. :)
So, just book your reservations for Warszawa - Duisburg for the 5th June on [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] :)
