I just thought does anyone know do I have to pay supplement and other payments fo my under 4 years old child? I know I don't have to buy him any tickets, but what about for example if I take a couchette bed in night train and child sleeps beside me; is there some extra fees? I think I'll travel from Stocholm to Malmö (and to Copenhagen) night train in just a seat, not couchette or bed. Is it 4 or 8 euros and CAN I buy those two seats if I want with having only one interrail pass? Well, this ain't any big deal for my budget but.. :D
And if someone knows any nice, cheap hostels in Copenhagen and Austria (almost any city is ok :D ), let me know please! I hate that most of the hostels don't take children to dormitories :| , I'm sure we would settle there well. :D

Hi,
if your child sleeps beside you in the same bunk bed you wont need any extra supplements as far as I know (at least this is the case in AT and DE). However this might be different from country to country and you might contact the railway companies directly as this is a quite specific problem where I cant help you further. ;)
