I'm new to the interrail holiday, so this summer im going. I'm planning to go from amsterdam to prague on the overnight train and i've been trying to reserve a couchette. There are 6 of us going and i was looking to book a 6 bed couchette and i saw that prices were 27.50 euros per person but when i go to book it on raileur*pe.com, i get a price of £63 which, to me, is alot. And also the on the main website of Bahn ( [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] ) im having trouble finding the right direct train for me to reserve the beds.
Is there anyone that can help me find the place where i can group reserve the beds with the price being at 27.50 euros per person?

hi,
afaik bahn.com doesn't allow you to make a reservation for international trains. Maybe the easiest way is to go to local railway companies office and make the reservation. If you prefer online booking you can use our system: https://rail.shop/acprail/reservationthe price is 36€.

Hi.
Exactly like NatureOne wrote: use the railcc partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
There you get you official Interrail pass.
If you want to have the official price of EUR 27,50 you have to book like explained here: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/amsterdam-prague-cnl-457/15

See text above the schedule:
Interrail: if you want to make an online reservation for this train, either departure or arrival station has to be in Germany.
Solution: book a reservation for Amsterdam to Bad Schandau and ask the train staff if you can stay in your couchette/sleeper until Prague. This is usually no problem as the reservation fee is the same. If it is not possible, change in Bad Schandau to the 2nd class seated cars (attached in Berlin) which you can use for free without reservation.

Booking like explained bellow the map:
1 Visit this website of the Deutsch Bahn (see link bellow)
2 Fill in the journey you want to travel, the date and time.
3 Press: search
Select normal fare tickets and special prices here.
If you travel with an Interrail or Eurail pass, you will need a reservation only. Please continue with step 5.
4 You will see a list of trains - select the one you want to buy a reservation for.
The night trains are usually called CNL trains.
Check availability.
5 Sometimes the system asks then for your age - it is not important for the reservation, but fill it in - there is also an extra field. Keep it with no reduction. Press refresh and do it again like at step (4).
6 Now you see the list of the different types of seats, couchettes and beds you can book. But still at the normal high fares. Select the button at the bottom beside the red one called: Book only extra charge
7 On the next page select Pass offer (InterRail, Eurail, other pass offer) and then: Continue
8 Select the type of seat/bed you want and press: Book selected offer

Make bookings via this link: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] - railcc is official online partner of Deutsche Bahn, so you get the same prices and options via this link at the Bahn-railcc version.
At the same time you support the information here on railcc. thank you.

Peter :)

Hi.
Yes it is also possible to buy the reservation at the railway station in Amsterdam: https://rail.cc/en/amsterdam/amsterdam-central-railway-station/l177
It is a common way to buy a reservation while traveling to stay more flexible. But note: the Netherlands railways charge a service fee at their ticket windows - and a seats/beds may sell out quickly during the summer months.
This is no problem on this route, as you can use as well a day train (https://rail.cc/en/train/amsterdam-to-berlin). A long trip, but possible - think about stops in Berlin (https://rail.cc/en/berlin/c) or Dresden (https://rail.cc/en/dresden/c) then.
