Hi all,

I'm looking for a night train from Vienna to Berlin that has a compartment for 2 people. Which is my best option here?

I don't understand the meaning of these options, maybe if someone would be able to translate into English that would be great!

2Cl Couchet.4B
2Cl Couchet.6B
2Cl Slp 1B
2Cl Slp 2B
Tourist Slp 3B

Many thanks,

Will

Hi.

Here you find the information for the night train Vienna to Berlin: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/vienna-berlin-en-40406/45

If you travel with a point to point ticket, the prices may vary. It depends on how long you book in advance and how many free places left. As earlier you book, as cheaper the prices are.
If you travel with a rail pass, you find the reservation prices at the link above - they are fixed and don't change.

Where did you read these abbreviations?
2Cl = 2nd class
1Cl = 1st class
Couchet = Couchette
Slp = Sleeper
Night trains have three categories: seats, couchettes and the sleepers (most comfortable).

See photos at the link I gave you above.

So for you the best option would be a 2-bed-sleeper. If you book early, the price will be EUR 69 per person, so EUR 138 in total.

:arr: Booking via this link: https://rail.shop/bahn?s=Wien&e=Berlin&d=2200&l=en
