Me and my friends are getting the 22day pass and so far have a rough route of:
Start off in Amsterdam,
First interrail journey:
Amsterdam, Holland ---> Berlin, Germany - 6:20 hours
Berlin, Germany ---- Prague, Czech Republic - 4:40 hours
Prague, Czech Republic ----> Krakow, Poland - Around 8 hours, or 13 for night train
Krakow, Poland ------> Vienna, Austria - 8 hours
Vienna, Austria -------> day trip to: Bled, Slovenia (By bus or car) 1 hour
Vienna, Austria ------> Budapest, Hungary - 3:01 hours
From Budapest we had thought about going down to Belgrad, to then get to sarajevo/mostar in bosnia, but from both Budapest and Belgrad this takes a long time. We also wanted to go to Zagreb, then finish in Venice to get a cheap flight home
Does anyone have any suggestions as to possible roots from Budapest?
