Hi
I've done a bit of research and it seems that to get from Bar to Dubrovnik there are pretty regular buses... Please can anyone tell me how long the journey usually takes? And also what sort of times the buses run, for example are night buses an option?
Thanks for your help :)

I`m planning a similar journey in september, and I contacted the tourist informations of Montenegro and Croatia, to find out the time table of the busses. The only answer I got, was, that there are some per day. So I`m still searching for an answer on how many days to plan for this journey.

There are NO DIRECT buses-nor have there ever been. Bar (you likely ask this as you think it must have at the and of the rails) has very, very few BUSconnections, as its mainly a port (ferry, CONTainers!!) and on the end of an isolated strip.
You can get CONNections=also due to borders having gone up, via either Kotor or HercegNovi-or both. These vary a lot with time of year=seasons!
If you are still too young to have experience or impatient to wait till there: get off the train before Bar-at CernaGoras capital and find a bus from there to any of these 2.
google for libertasdubrovnik for buses from/to there.
Google for ''autobusni kolodvor (+name city) for any town in old Yugo- it may-but more likely may not-give some (maybe old) info

Hi.
There are daily connections. At least once a week a direct one (more often in summer) from Bar to Split if I am right.
But you can do it daily with change in Podgorica (https://rail.cc/en/podgorica/c). Sometimes an additional change in Herceg Novi (https://rail.cc/en/herceg-novi/c) or Kotor (https://rail.cc/en/kotor/c).
Calculate for the route Bar - Podgoricia - Dubrovnik: ~ EUR 20/25
The price depends on the company, if you change, etc.
Buy the tickets at the bus station - it's the usual way. Also possible at the driver. It is the standard way and easy to do. :)
Example schedules:
Podgorica - Dubrovnik (max. EUR 20): https://rail.cc/en/train/podgorica-to-dubrovnik
Dubrovnik - Split (max. EUR 15): https://rail.cc/en/train/dubrovnik-to-split
Split - Dubrovnik (max. EUR 15): https://rail.cc/en/train/split-to-dubrovnik
Dubrovnik - Podgorica (max. EUR 20): https://rail.cc/en/train/dubrovnik-to-podgorica
