I have a question, I read that if you start your journey from your home country you can not ride the trains which are offered by the interrail project for free with your flexi pass. do you have to pay for a ticket even when you have a interrail flexi pass when you are traveling starts from your home country until the border??
thank you

Hi.
You can NOT travel for free in you country of residence with Interrail: https://rail.cc/en/how-to-interrail
I recommend to buy an Europa Spezial of Deutsche Bahn here to leave Düsseldorf to a city outside of Germany: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
As earlier you book, as cheaper the prices are.
Then start interrailing from the place where you traveled with the Europa Spezial ticket.
Please buy via the link above. The prices are the same for you but you directly support the railcc project. Thank you.
Peter :)
