Hi,
Trying to get from Zadar to Glenoble on the 13th / 14th Jul 13.
Being from NZ I can't get my head around the train system.
Is it easier from Split? Looking to charter a yacht from either Zadar or Split.
Keen on a night train but if there is a great section during the day that would be nice to fit in (trying to make Tour De France so can't take to long).
Any help appreciated.

You can include a night train to save travel time.
Then you have different options.
Via Slovenia, Austria to Switzerland.
Or also a good solution could be to Ljubljana, then border crossing to Italy ([u]https://rail.cc/blog/travel-lake-bled-train/[/u]).
It all depends if you want to travel the fastest or cheapest way, if you travel with a rail pass or point to point only, your travel date, ...
