Hi, I'm planning a railtrip with friends this summer,
we depart the first day from Brussels and in Nuremberg we're taking the bus to Prague, this is the best connection.
Now, my question is if I have to buy our tickets in advance online?
Or can I just try to buy 'em in the Nuremberg station?

thanks!

Hej,

you can also buy them at short notice, however it might be better to get them beforehand since the bus only has a limited capacity.

Are you going to travel with InterRail or single tickets?

Hi.

Like Flow already wrote: if you travel with a rail pass (Interrail, Eurail) you will need a reservation for the direct bus. Buy it at a ticket machine in a German railway.
But there are as well free trains available for rail pass travellers: https://rail.cc/en/train/nuremberg-to-prague

If you travel with a point to point ticket, buy your ticket as e-ticket (print out at home) here: https://rail.shop/bahn?s=Nuremberg&e=Prague

Thanks :)
We are travelling with a interrail pass, so I wonder if there will be place,
because we're travelling with the eight of us (on a mondaymidday of the first september)

I'd prefer to have the tickets before departing, so where do I buy them online?

or will it be okay if we just buy them in a train station?

I know there are free trains but that's gonna take us way too long and we'll have to make a detour
besides, we depart around 5 in the morning so we'd like to arrive around noon

thanks for the help

Hej,

for the Express Bus a standard reservation is necessary which is 4€. You normally should get this at a train station in Belgium beforehand as well. There should be no service fee for reservations for InterRail pass holders.

Please support railcc:
- buy your rail passes and tickets here on the recommended website: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
- add locations of your home-town (bars, nice places, ...)
Thank you! :)
