A couple of friends and I are planning to go interrailing this july/august and are hoping to do some busking along the way to earn a little money (as well as to entertain the people of europe obviously). I was jyust wondering if anyone has had any experience doing this or has any useful advice. Any help wpuld be much appreciated :D

I've never done this but I think you should just go for it. I remember some buskers from my trips abroad: the most successful was a French guy, a very good guitarist, playing opposite a popular bar in the evening. Young people in Eastern Europe love hip-hop, can you beat box and do some rapping in english? They would love that!
The worst buskers I can recall involved bongos - the sound of bongos plagued me all over Europe! Ugh.
As for regulations etc - I'm sure if you start up where it's not allowed, someone will let you know pretty quickly!! It's not likely you'd end up being questioned by police over it!
