Hi,
My name is Luke, Im looking to buy a interrail pass to use just for 14 days (youth pass). I have a route in mind but no idea where, what trains to get and the times that they will be running!!!
London-Eurostar-Paris (3nights) interrail from then-switzerland (jungfrau)-pisa/florence-Rome(3 nights)-venice-vienna-amsterdam-london
Any ideas on length of journies?do u get the trains from specific train station? a plan for the rail side i.e 3nights in paris, then get the 8pm night train to switzerland, 1night stay get the 10am train to pisa ect??
I guess I didnt take into account the length of time on train between destinations! i.e Paris to Switzerland
Any help would be appreiciated

Hi Luke.
Have a look at the railcc connections:
https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
London - Paris: don't use Interrail for it. Buy a special fare ticket at [ux]https://rail.shop/beurope[/ux] - it is much cheaper!
More information here: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/london-to-paris-by-eurostar-train-bus-or-ferry//
Paris - Zurich: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/paris-to-zurich
Zurich - Milan: use this scenic route to travel for free - https://rail.cc/en/interrail/zurich-to-milan
Here the blog post of Flow with a lot of photos: https://rail.cc/blog/zurich-milano-albula-bernina/
In Italy use regional trains for free. If you want to save money, avoid IC (3 EUR) and the other high-speed trains (10 EUR).
Connections Italy: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
Connections in general: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
Extra fees in Italy: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/italy/it
Venice - Vienna: I recommend the direct night train - https://rail.cc/en/interrail/venice-to-vienna
Vienna - Munich - Amsterdam: is free if you don't use a night train.
https://rail.cc/en/interrail/vienna-to-amsterdam
Amsterdam - London: a nice option is using the ferry Hoek van Holland to Harwich.
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-ferry/hoek-van-holland-harwich/netherlands-united-kingdom/16
Or by train to Brussels and then with a special price to London with Eurostar: [ux]https://rail.shop/beurope[/ux]
Support the railcc project:
- buy your rail passes and tickets here on the recommended website: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
- add locations of your hometown (bars, nice places, ...)
Thank you. :)
Peter :)
