Hey,
planning to go on a interrail journey next year in september.I'll be already in zagreb in that period and would use interrail to go back to my home (brussels) en in the meantime visiting some cities. Would be the 5/10 pass. I'll stay in each city around 2 days and wil try to use night trains to save time & hostels cost. Doesn't find detailed information about extra night train fees. And how do i need to pay for the belgian part in the munich-brussels line? Will be my first time interrail and is my first time interrail-planning. Please give some usefull thoughts, advice, tips,... Thank you!

Hi.
Information about the extra reservation fees for the night trains: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train
Otherwise the route looks fine.
Possible with a 5 in 10 Interrail Pass using the rule of 1900-h for night trains: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train
But still a time to go - and time for planing your trip.
You pay from the German-Belgium border (depends on your route - but it should be Aachen usually using the ICE to Brussels) to your destination in Belgium. You will get a 50% discount on this ticket which you have to buy in advance in Belgium: https://rail.cc/en/how-to-interrail

As a Belgian, you likely know its much cheaper to use the trip back home on a GOpass-then you only pay 2 eur or so for Aachen/grenze to Welkenraedt-can pay conductor/treinwacht on train, IF you are willing to use the oldest trains NMBS has.
Also: it may work out cheaper to book via [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] fix BPest (or can do from as close ROM border as can find) to Aachen, as Eurospezial, and traval in balkans with Balkan flexi-will give you more travel days and a ;little less cost as IR.
