i have just been on a train from nice to genoa and the coastal scenery was stunning.is there any more great rail journeys next to the coast and is there any more great journeys anywhere in europe?

Further onward in IT: along those 7 wonders(or whatever it is called by that Rick Steves)-south of La Spezia toward Roma.
UK; Cornwall/Devon: the line west of Plymouth
IE: some sections of the line south of Dublin to Rosslare.
Many lines that appear on maps along coasts are hidden behind buildings, in tunnels etc.-like in Nice.
Its not coast, but lake: I personally like very much the ride on the Swiss SBB from Geneve via Lausanne-Montreux untill it leaves the lakeshore.
