Can anyone assist me in my search for train schedules from Paris to San Sebastian in Spain. Can't seem to find a route. Does the French train terminate at some French town rather than San Sebastian? Any assistance appreciated.
Thanks
Barry

Hej Barry,

most domestic SNCF trains run only to Hendaye, the French border station. From Paris, there are currently only two TGV trains running through to the Spanish border station of Irún:
Paris dep 0825 | 1426
Irún arr 1430 | 2019

From Irún to San Sebastian you can either take the RENFE Cercanias suburban trains which run about hourly during the day or the half-hourly Euskotren trains.

SAN SEBASTIAN is normally now named DONOSTIA in the basque language. But In guess the French name is Saint Sebastien. But its simply not on the SNCF-planner. Eskotren is best-small halt beside the French SNCF in hendaye/Hendaia-or a little over road from Irun. There are also buses ev 30 mins.
