Hi

I am trying to sort out night trains...

The Copenhagen - Amsterdam one i understand is very popular and requires prebooking...however I am under the impression I can only book this is in Germany? This means I can't book until a few days before I am due to travel which means I more than likely won't be able to get on it?

if someone could advise please?

Thanks

Hi,

no, you can book it at railway stations in other European countries as well. Are you doing a round trip? Where are you before?

Another option is to do it online, as you can read here :arr: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/copenhagen-amsterdam-cnl-40473/13
However, when making reservations for CNL online, at least one of departure and arrival stations have to be in Germany. This means in this case that you should make your reservation from Copenhagen until the last station in Germany (Duisburg) and explain the situation to the conductor (maybe print this page or the linked page where this is explained as well), it should not be a problem to continue until Amsterdam because the price for the reservation is the same for all destinations.
