The German national railway Deutsche Bahn offers a special train ticket called Europa Spezial (Europe Special).
Starting [b]from EUR 19/29/39[/b] one-way (if you book early), you can travel from Germany to several other European countries (and reverse).
The Europa Spezial train ticket is available for travels from Germany to (and reverse):
Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland.

its only 19 eur for some shorter links into BE and NL
NOTE: these tickets are TRAINBOUND (zugbindung in German) that means you MUST use the trains as listed IN Germany-and for the ICE through trains also in most=not all other countries where they run. The rest of the ticket you can use as any normal INTernational ticket-for 1 month- OUT of Germany only!! and with as many breaks as you can fit in via the route on it.
For those who fear and worry about anything: this does NOT mean you MUST reserve seats-you can, if the worries are too overwhelming to not do. The only risk in trains for not reserving is having to stand-for part of all the way. Trains are not planes with controlled access and all that.
