Hi everyone,

Just couple of questions for these 3 journeys.

prague - venice 13:03

bordeaux - Barcelona 14:19

Rome - parĂs 11:10

Could I get an overnight train with a bed for all these journeys (in the brackets is the journey times).

And how much would it cost extra as I have an interrail pass. Also for second class and first class also.

I am a group of 2 parents, 1 young child, 15 year old and two 20 year olds.

I look forward to hearing from you.

H

Hello H.

Please have a look at the list of night trains in Europe. There you will find details, such as the reservation fees, photos, type of cabins, etc...

:arr: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train

Prague-Venice: Prague to Munich by free day train, then by night train to Venice - https://rail.cc/en/train/prague-to-venice

Bordeaux-Barcelona: mmmh, no good connection available. Especially not by night train. Either travel from Bordeaux to Irun and then by direct Spanish train to Barcelona, but it is a long trip then (the whole day).
Much more interessting (and possible absolutely free without extra reservations) and very scenic is the route crossing the Pyrenees. Possible in one day: Bordeaux - Toulouse - Latour de Carol - Barcelona.
Example:

Bordeaux dep: 1041 - free local train
Agen arr: 1205

Agen dep: 1222 - free local train
Toulouse Matabiau arr: 1342

Toulouse Matabiau dep: 1449 - free local train
Latour de Carol-Enveitg arr: 1752

Latour de Carol-Enveitg dep: 1855 - https://rail.cc/en/interrail/latour-de-carol-to-barcelona
Barcelona Sants arr: 2206

Also other connections earlier or with a longer break in the Pyrenees.
A nice route is as well the one by Littel Yellow Train down to Perpignan: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/latour-de-carol-enveitg-to-villefranche-de-conflent

Rome-Paris: currently no direct night train, but will start running from beginning of December. This night train is not included in Interrail then, you will need a point to point ticket for it. :(
An option is via Switzerland... or for example Rome to Nice (France) along the coast. And from Nice by night train to Paris.

I hope this information will help you. And if you like the railcc, support us and buy your official Interrail passes via our partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]

Thank you, Peter :)
