Hey there!

I m going interrailling and i want to have train maps in a electronic form, like an application in an adroid phone or so.
And I would like to ask if there is an app for android phone for GPS in a train!

Yours, Nick!

Hi.
A very good paper map - and that is what I recommend - is the one from Thomas Cook: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

An online map is here: https://rail.cc/en/maps

Peter :)

maybe you check out some apps, that use maps of openstreetmap like OSM Browser or something similar. I think the tracks will be integrated. I only have iOS, so maybe check out MapDroyd, it's a service based on OSM, but you can download the map to your device, so you avoid expensive roaming fees. For cities I recommend you City maps 2GO

I don't know what you mean. Do you have a bad connection to the satellites or what's your problem? So try your gps near the windows. Sometimes you have to wait for localization, if you don't uses AGPS. For a better connection I advice you to get a external GPS device/mouse. If you use a bluetooth connected device, you will spare your battery, because mostly bluetooth chips don't use as much battery as GPS does. Use some software like Bluetooth GPS
