Interrail Finland - Which trains can I use ?

in Finland you can use all trains of the national railway company VR :arr: [u]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-company/vr/22[/u]

So I can't use an IC2 (Intercity 2) ?
Do I have to reserve the seat?

Any other advice about traveling with One Country 6 Days?

Hej,

you can also use IC2 trains (I'll edit the train list). If you follow the train categories link you will find all the infos regarding reservations. If you have specific questions just ask. :)

- Keep in mind you can use the 1900-rule also with a One Country Pass.
- Reservations are not labelled, this means that you might have to give up your seat to other travellers holding a reservation in case you are travelling without a reservation.

This is a bit late answer, but someone else might find it good to know :)

In Finland we have only one railway company, VR, so you can use all trains inside Finland. If I've understood correct, you might need a reservation on high speed Pendolino trains, but not on the IC trains.

Hej,

thank you, that is also the information we have:
Reservation compulsory on Pendolino (S2)
Reservation recommended on IC, IC2 and express trains.
