Is this advisable. Started planning this out a few days ago for next summer, and I have about 15 people interested so far. I guess what I'm asking is, will this affect the freedom of the trip? I like the idea of having a few major targets but stopping where I like along the way and booking into hostels on spur the moment. Will a party this size mean I have to prebook every hostel?

Hi.
If you want to stay all in the same hostel, you will have to prebook.
If you want to use the same night trains, you also have to prebook.
It also depends on the route you travel, which trains you use.

Thanks for the response. As long as it's not impossible then I'll go for it. A large party would be great fun. Your advice will come in very handy :D
