Good day

I searched for similar topics and read associated replies. However, what is not clear to me is the total (minimum) time it would take to travel from Zurich to Milan, making use of the Bernina Express along the way.
If I arrive in Zurich by plane early morning, and need to be in Milan in the afternoon, would I be able to make use of this route?
I understand the quickest route by rail (without the Bernina) is just under 4 hours, but is not as scenic. Can anyone expand on this - how un-scenic is it?

Kind regards

Hi.

Information and schedule for Zurich to Milan using the absolutely scenic route is here: https://rail.cc/blog/zurich-milano-albula-bernina/

Direct connections here: [ux]https://plan.rail.cc/Zurich-Hb/Milano[/ux]

The faster one is also nice but of course not that special like the extended (first one). :)
I definitely recommend to travel the longer and scenic route, otherwise you will miss something.

Have a nice trip, Pete :)
