Beginning the journey BEFORE the Visa starting date

Hi,
I am Turkish Citizen. I will use Interrail global pass and pass through bulgaria-romania and hungary route to the western europe. I would like to ask, my schengen visa starting date is 17.09.2012 Can I move one or two days ago?
i mean 15.09 from Istanbul because i consider to arrive to Hungary(schengen) border at 17.09. so is this logical or shouldnt i risk something like that

Hi,

frankly, I think it is not a very good idea to try to enter both a EU border and a Schengen border without valid Visum...there will be border controls and I cant believe you can pass without a valid visa, even if it will be valid in some days.

I would like to ask one more thing, I am a painter and i wish to take my oil paints which are in tubes, with me. they are liquids in tubes, is there any possibility of these to make me any trouble in borders or something?
