I m a seventeen ( 8) ) year old kid from struggling and i m planning just after finishing my last school exams(after June), would like to take a long trip to discover europe!

I'm planning starting my journey fron Hgoumenitsa and continue the trip so:

I don't really know which card to buy but I'm concidering buying the 10 travel days within a period of 22 days or the InterRail GLOBAL pass - 22 days continuous or the InterRail GLOBAL pass - ONE month continuous...

I would like some help in oreder to adjust the program to the needs of the trips! xo

Hi.
The 10 in 22 isn't possible with all the places you want to visit. I recommend to use the ONE MONTH pass so you can stay at some places longer than only one night.
For connections have a look here: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
And here: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
For Milan to Zurich travel this route: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/milan-to-zurich
Barcelona to France include the Little Yellow Train: https://rail.cc/blog/little-yellow-train-video/

Peter thaks for the quick reply!!

I have a change of plans.
I m going from Milan-->Torino-->St. Moritz-->Chur-->Disentis-Munster-->Andermatt-->Oberwald!

From Oberwald i m thinking of travelling by bus to Innertkirchen and then train to Interlaken!

From there I m considering going to Montreux via Zweisimmen!
But I have a problem! when searching www.sbb.ch I dont find the route i m looking for!

I prefer Regional trains to travel!

Hej,

I would go to Torino first, since it is quicker to go to St Moritz from Milano than from Torino. Also, I would recommend to stay in Pontresina instead of St Moritz since the youth hostel there is just across the railway station and in St Moritz it is quite a distance to walk. In case you want to visit St Moritz (it is not very interesting in my opinion but you could easily go there from Pontresina).

Then, from Pontresina you can go to Andermatt by regional trains. From Pontresina, change in Samedan, Reichenau-Tamins, Disentis/Mustér. The part of route from Disentis/Mustér to Andermatt is operated by MGB which only grants a 50% discount for IR Youth passes. This ticket can be bought at any intermediate station in Switzerland.
From Andermatt, if you want to go all the way to Interlaken, I would recommend to go via Göschenen - Arth-Goldau - Luzern, which is a really scenic trip as well. The short trip to Göschenen is also operated by MGB so in case you decide to go this way get a through ticket Disentis/Mustér - Göschenen.

From Luzern you can take the direct Zentralbahn trains to Interlaken; in case you want to go to Innertkirchen (to visit the Aare gorge which are halfway between Meiringen and Innertkirchen) change at Meiringen. The MIB (Meiringen Innertkirchen Bahn) also only grants a 50% discount for IR so you need a separate ticket for this section as well.

From Interlaken you can then go all the way to Montreux via Zweisimmen. I would recommend to look for detailed schedules via these travel planners :arr: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

All trains on these routes can be used without reservation; only for the MGB and MIB you would need extra tickets as mentioned.
