i want to learn is there any way cheaper than Interrail global pass, to reach brussels from beograd (actually from Istanbul but there is a direct train from istanbul to beograd so it can start from beograd), it is not important trains to be slow or stopping variety of stations. and the duration of travel can be 3-4-5 days.
thanks already

Hi,

if you are going only to Bruxelles (without return), I would recommend to buy Budapest Special (15€) in Beograd at the station and for the remainder use online tickets from [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] . You have to split up then: Budapest to somewhere in Germany (Frankfurt for example) and from there to Bruxelles - you cannot get an online through ticket for the whole trip. Depending on when you are travelling and which connections you choose this might work out cheaper.
Alternatively, you could also have a look at website of MAV Start (Hungarian railway) and check for their offers, for instance to Czech Republic, Austria or Germany and continue from there with e-tickets from [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]

thanks for reply

i tend to get my tickets not online, i mean station to station, i think i can find some local or slow train tickets (i mean all other trains except TGVs or night trains because of their expensiveness) to the next station. but only if the total cost is significantly few compared to interrail global pass. i mean if it will cost 200 euros total until brussels, it is much more logical to get interrail (270 Euros or something) starting from Istanbul.

and of course the trip shouldnt last too long, maximum 3 days or maybe 4 beograd to brussels.

do you suggest this way or are the night trains (100-130 euros as i searched) much more wisely , i mean is the money i save worth this way ?

Hi.
If you do not book early in advance via [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] and travel without a rail pass, you will definitely pay a lot of money. Do it like Flow said!
Belgrade - Budapest: EUR 15
Budapest - Cologne: from EUR 39
Cologne - Brussels: from EUR 19
As earlier you book ,as cheaper the prices are.
