Hi all,
I´m currently in Barcelona, I already have an interrail pass, and I´m trying to buy reserved tickets for the rest of my journeys, but it seems there are non left. I´ve already made hostel reservations on the following days, so I need to get there:
Barcelona - Marseille : Sat 25th Aug
Marseille - Genoa : 28th
Genoa - Rome: 29th
Rome - Bern: 2nd Sept
Bern - Paris: 3rd
Help anyone?
Thanks!!

thats the thing you get when you are so scared to be unable to think of ''full'' hotels-you always find place.
Oh that old IR-spirit-you just went and see how it ran-take another train or go another way if its too difficult, tiring or whatever-or if you hit that opposite sex type you were after so long.
For the trains; Use the tables the guys from this site have made up so nicely for UNreserved travel-you know, like on the London or Barca tube-stand if all is full. Its slower, wants more changes, but most of it is fairly or very easy to do.
For to/from Roma: nonsense, place enough, but likely the Spaniards do not want to waste their time in getting those 3€ seats for you-read ITaly-and do yourself at any of the FS-trenitalia screen (in 6 langugaes) machines.

Hi
Thanks for the reply! I didn't quite understand that 2nd paragraph, but thanks for the reassurance.
Actually it isn't just the local Spanish train staff who won't help, I checked the website too and there are no reservations left. And I looked at the schedules for trains, and it seems for some of the trains there are no routes with reservation-free trains. Can anyone help or offer advice?
Thanks!

Hi.
I do not exactly understand for what trains you want to buy reservations?
Barcelona - Marseilles: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/barcelona-to-nice
Marseilles - Genoa: free of reservations
Marseille-St-Charles dep 0731
Nice Ville arr: 1006
Nice Ville dep: 1026
Ventimiglia arr: 1113
Ventimiglia dep: 1150
Genova Piazza Principe arr: 1509
Genoa - Rome: two direct IC trains at 0900 and 1300. IC trains are free, but a reservation is recommended. Just do it at a ticket machine like nltrainer said or online at trenitalia. It's EUR 3.
Rome - Bern: a very long trip and if you want to do it in one day, you will miss the best part of the Alps:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail/milan-to-zurich
Reservations available in Italy for the high-speed-train to Milan (like explained above).
Bern - Paris: get it in Marseilles. If no places left, use free trains. Bern dep: 1034; Paris arr: 1716
