We will be travelling from Memmingem Airport to Tiefenbach (now Passau) on Saturday 25th August.
We will also need to find a hotel in Memmingem for one night (triple room) and would really like some help to try and plan the route from Memmingem to Passau (or nearest station) by train.
We would like to leave Memmingem Airport around 10.00am and leave Passau to return to the hotel around 16.00/17.00pm.
Can anyone help please?
Many thanks in advance :D

Hi.
To find a hotel, have a look here: [ux]https://rail.shop/bookingcom[/ux]
There are several villages available in Germany called Tiefenbach, so I don't know which one you want to visit.
Have a look here to find schedules: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]

Many thanks Peter..
Apparently the village where we will be going and also the nearest train station is Passau. Can anyone help with this all? I am trying to organise the route and costs etc before we get there.
Thank you :)

Hi.
Just use the link I gave you: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
There you will find schedules and prices. If you select the number of travelers and only local transport the Bayern Ticket will be offered.
It is valid for one day in whole Bavaria, so you can travel as well back to Memmingen with this ticket in the evening.
1 person: EUR 22
2 persons: EUR 26
3 persons: EUR 30
4 persons: EUR 34
5 persons: EUR 38
The price depends on the number of travelers which you have to fix before. Print it out as e-ticket.
Note: it is 4:30h of travel from Memmingen to Passau one-way!
So if you leave Memmingen central station with the connection at 10:06h, you will be in Passau at 14:39h (with one change in Munich).
I don't know what's your goal to visit in Bavaria, but you could also visit Castle Neuschwanstein in Füssen which is only 2 hours by train (same Bayern Ticket like mentioned above).
Don't use high-speed trains on these route, not worth - you will pay more, but don't win time!
Peter :)
