Afternoon from beautiful Lucerne!

We are planning on going down to montreux tomorrow using the Golden Pass line. I can't seem to reserve seat online and it may be too short notice anyway, can anyone confirm of we can do the route for free using our Inter Rail passes?

I've found the following trains:

Lucerne to Interlaken OST: 9:55 to 11:55
Interlaken OST to Zwiesiminn: 13:08 to 14:19
Zwiesiminn to Montreux: 14:25 to 16:13

Do these follow the Golden Pass route?

Train numbers are IR2218 and D3123.

Are we likely to get seats in 2nd class and will these journeys be free?

Kind Regards,
Jon

Hej Jon,

hope you enjoyed the trip!

And to clarify for future readers: There are no reservations needed on the Golden Pass route. Except for 1st class VIP accomodation which is available on some journeys.
