Ok so I just got back from my very first interrail trip and can't wait to save up to go again next summer. This time I did Berlin - Prague - Vienna - Salzburg - Venice - Florence - Rome. Is there any way to do Copenhagen to Slovenia/somewhere nearby that's easy to fly back from, passing through say Berlin, Munich, maybe Zurich, Budapest, Ljubljana and Bled, and a few other exciting places.. within 3 weeks and minimising large travel times? I don't mind doing a few say 5 hour journeys and 1 or 2 night trains, but since I don't sleep very well on trains I'd like to do small hops between places where at all possible ;) Oh also I'd like to go to new exciting places, so with the exception of Berlin which I absolutely loved, I'd prefer to avoid repeating where I've already been before.
Thanks!

Edit: I'm also keen to go to Croatia, though I've heard it takes a long time to get anywhere on the train, so maybe this would be best left for another trip.

Hi.
Good to hear that you liked you Interrail trip. :)
If you like, just add some information (nice places, photos, ...) to railcc. It is always helpful for other travellers.

Still a long time to plan ...
But think about:

Copenhagen - Hamburg - Berlin or Copenhagen - Malmö - night train to Berlin (https://rail.cc/en/interrail/malmoe-to-berlin).
Berlin - Prague - Krakow - Budapest - Belgrade (possible with night trains)
Belgared - Montenegro (Podgorica, Bar) by day train. A long trip, but very scenic: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/belgrade-to-bar
Then by bus to Dubrovnik, also by bus to Split.
Split - Zagreb - Ljubljana - Lake Bled

Or if you want to travel the Western way to Slovenia:
Copenhagen - Hamburg - Amsterdam - Cologne - Heidelberg - Munich - Zurich (or somewhere else in Switzerland, but it is really expensive there).
Then the scenic route trough the Alps to Milan: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/zurich-to-milan
Milan - Venice - border crossing to Slovenia: https://rail.cc/blog/travel-lake-bled-train/
