Hello,
Just wondered if anyone could help me. I'm trying to book 'hendaye - paris' night train on Aug 20 departing at 18.22 but everytime i try to book it, it comes up with this message:
Exception placing order: Railway reservation system : H020 - Requested service is not available. on train 4052
What does this mean??
Thanks for your help :) x x

Hi.
I recommend to use the SNCF link bellow the map (see also description there, how to book):
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/paris-irun-icn-4053/112
And book to Irun, on the Spanish side of the French/Spanish border.
The message means that the railcc could not access the French national railway database system. :o

Thanks for your reply.
I just tried that but it keeps redirecting me to 'raileur*pe' which is bringing up the train but its £65 for a reservation!
It says there aren't any 'female only' cabins left so maybe that is why it wouldn't go through on your site? Because i selected female only.

Maybe try the SNCF website directly: www.voyages-sncf.com
There are female only and mixed couchettes available. As woman you will always get a couchette or seat.
Due to rail track works in the southern part of this journey, trains are filled in the schedules at short notice. Maybe you book to fare in advance?! Or the train isn't already in the railcc database. It always takes some days until the new filled in night train schedules are available for other databases than the French one.
Try the link above. Peter :)

Ok thank you.
I just went onto the voyages sncf website. It asks for the country of receipt (ticket collection country) Should I put Britain so they can deliver it to me? or Spain (Because i'm getting the train from Hendaye)? Or does it not matter?
Also, when i go to book it and select 'Abo Fortaire 2e' it says 'Forfait Subscription:Frequent Traveller Season Ticket to be shown on board.' Does that just mean I have to show my interrail pass on when i get on the train?
Sorry for all the questions! :) Thanks!

Hi Charlotte...
Maybe try the website you mentioned if you want to get it send to the UK.
I am currently a bit confused, as an official source says: as Interrailer you can book a French night train with Abo Fortaire 2e. See link to SNCF website here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/france/fr
Then you give me the information Forfait Subscription:Frequent Traveller Season Ticket to be shown on board.
Today I asked the SNCF support and did only get a confusing answer... not saying yes, not saying no ...
Welcome to the most Interrail-hostile railway company in Europe.
I try to find out what's correct for now.

I can only say that we travelled with a Abo Forfait reservation on the Paris - St Gervais Lunea without a problem. But, as Peter said there is no useful official statement as of now. :|

Hmm that is confusing :| Would you be able to let me know what they say when you find out?
Can i get an e-ticket from the SNCF website? I might just book it and risk choosing the Abo Fortaire selection and see what happens :)

You should be able to buy a reservation from the SNCF website which you can then get from a ticket machine (yellow) at a SNCF station - you will need the confirmation code plus the credit card with which you have bought the ticket!
I am not quite sure if they have real e ticket which you can print - I doubt it.

Thank for your help.
I booked it and selected 'Abo Forfait' and hopefully it will be ok :)
